President and CEO
Christine Stoner-Mertz, LCSW, has served as the president and CEO of Lincoln since 2006. As co-founder of Seneca Center, a nonprofit children’s mental health organization, she was instrumental in the design, development and implementation of innovative services. She also founded inFocus a consulting company supporting private mental health providers, county departments of mental health and social services and school districts.
Chris is driven in her work by the belief that every young person deserves a family, and every parent wants his or her child to succeed despite the challenges of poverty, trauma, substance use and limited educational resources. She is a licensed clinical social worker, having received her MSW from the University of Michigan. She has served on several state and local association boards, and was a recipient of the Exemplar Award from the National Network of Social Work Managers. Chris currently serves on the board of the National Council of Behavioral Health Organizations and the California Council of Behavioral Healthcare Agencies.
