JUST RELEASED | Our 2024-29 Strategic Plan
Dear Lincoln Community,
For the past year, we have been engaged in a strategic planning process to evolve our mission and to clarify our vision and the values that guide our work. This process has involved deep listening, and we appreciate the time that so many of you took to provide your input and feedback.
I am pleased to share our new 2024-2029 Strategic Plan and also highlights of our accomplishments toward our former Strategic Plan --- despite the pandemic --- below:

Expanding our Kinship services
Opening our West Oakland Mandela Family Resource Center and beginning resident services
Expanding our early childhood services in Oakland Unified School District and Head Start; and beginning operations of the East County First 5 Center in Pittsburg
Be The Best: Bolstered recruitment and retention strategies, including:
Raising salary levels to market rates, ensuring everyone earns a livable wage
Receiving Bay Area Top Workplace Award for 3 consecutive years based on staff responses from our annual organizational climate survey
Tell Our Story: Broadened community awareness through launching our new website and centering the stories of youth and families to more effectively reflect our organizational mission, values, and culture.
Do It Well: Strengthened processes to effectively facilitate our work, including:
Infusing equitable practices and shared decision-making
Launching new Electronic Health Record
Driving forward to an even more welcoming work environment through organizational learning opportunities, most recently LGBTQ+ Inclusion & Intersectionality Trainings for Supervisors
Fiscal Management: Over 140% increase in agency net assets
Thank you, as always, for your support and belief in our work with children and families to improve educational achievement, economic mobility, and wellness outcomes. We could not do this work without you.
