KPIX 5 Morning Weather Anchor Roberta Gonzales answers the questions you never get to ask on-air.
Q: Roberta, great job at the Lincoln Child Center Luncheon on Monday. How long have you worked with the organization? Staci Tate, Pleasanton
A: Hi Staci! Thanks for your support of this amazing charity, helping so many families right here in the Bay Area. I found out about the Lincoln Child Center about five years and have been thrilled to assist with their fundraisers whenever possible.
On Monday, for the third year in a row, I was honored to emcee, “The Daffodil Luncheon” fundraiser. It was a fun afternoon spent with generous women giving their time, efforts and donations to such an amazing Bay Area charity. And did I mention there was a fashion show, too, with proceeds benefiting the Lincoln Child Center? Now, that was fun!
Who knew the very first orphanage in the state of California was founded here in the Bay Area back in 1883?
